Our Style speaks the words of our own individuality. Truly, it is a direct reflection of the way we choose to live and who we are.

I am always paying attention to the little details. The playlist you choose for the morning, how that connects to your outfit + vibe for the day, interior design, the texture of your coffee table and what books it carries, outfit details, the drink you pair with your meal, how you organize your fridge, oh the list goes on. I love the small details. They give breath to my creative side. Style is a way of life, individualistic, and donates character. Fashion + Style is often overlooked due to its superficial nature. Style is more than the simple idea of clothes, but a much smaller idea that grows larger to impact on your life and your world. Therefore, design and a way of life are inseparably connected.

Fashion is often confused as wearing something “trendy”. Style, however, is your own creation of ageless, style is constant, trends are fleeting. Your personal identity holds the key in which you create.

Sometimes I want to be a sports women and do the whole athleisure vibe, or be sensual with all black clothing paired with red lipstick, white linen clothes with dainty gold jewelry, or of-course my favorite, street style. Truly, it all depends on how I wake up that morning or what era of life I am in.

Quite often I refer my mind to a ping pong table, my style and personality reflect that. Why can’t we be everything all at once? There are no rules, i write my own.

When i’m running late, I can throw an outfit together in 2 minutes, or I will make a look out of anything. Its an unusual gift that is convenient at all times.( don’t get it twisted, it still takes me at least an hour to do my hair and makeup LOL ) The key is to not think too much about it, normally your first two options for clothes are the best. It becomes stressful once your on idea #10 and there are clothes all over the floor, I cannot tell you how many times I have been here and still made my way back to option one.

Creating a vision should always be fun- its time for yourself to feel good and design your own look. Whether your picking your work clothes or laying something out for an event. Sometimes its being romantic about the little things and wearing the pretty pajamas, it really does change your energy for the day.

My favorite place to visit is New York. Whenever I am feeling uninspired or dull in areas of my life, I know a good city weekend will bring me back to myself. The unapologetic- be whoever you want to be, energy is so profound and vivid to me. The hair styles, outfits, the uniqueness.. I find it so beautiful. Coming home from the city ALWAYS makes me want to step outside the box with what I wear. I respect when people create their OWN way of life. Whether they wear it, or say it, they do it with power and they own it. Stepping out of your comfort zone is scary and requires courage.

Being original is the only way to live-

Im going to share below some of my holy-grail stores, that are my go to’s. My favorite stores I have found are small boutiques in cities or small towns. Normally they are supplied by local artists or have no social media. *sigh* They are the best ones you just happen to come across that no one knows about.

CLOTHES

ZARA

Zara is my #1. I am a monochromatic girl. I want all the neutrals and organic colors. My personal favorite from this brand are the trousers, suits, bodysuits, avant-garde swimwear , and to be honest, everything. They are European sizing, so you always want to size up on your clothes.

FREE PEOPLE

Good for everything. The vibe is urban boho, so cute and fun

REVOLVE

Revolve carries high end brands for clothes, accessories, denim, from all different stores. I always go here first if I need a black tie dress, or a really hot shoe.

REFORMATION

Go-to for high end, well made clothes.

BANANA REPUBLIC

Business chic. You cannot go wrong here, great for linen and cashmere. Banana Republic has a very effortless timeless appeal. There clothes make me feel like a well dressed women.

ANTHROPOLOGIE

Absolutely everything, from clothes, to furniture to decor. I want it all, bury me in it. Also one of my favorite stores.
Great for gifts like candles, kitchen wear, and anything wellness related. You will find the best coffee table books here.

H&M

H&M has stepped up there game over the last few years. I am a hairdresser, so I have to be prepared for my work clothes to be ruined. This store is great for stylish clothes at an affordable price.

Trendy, streetstyle, and athleisure all in one.

NORDSTROM

Nordstrom is good for ALL needs of accessories + clothes. I find a lot of my sunglasses here.

DENIM

Over the years I have become a denim connoisseur. My mother has always been a jeans + t shirt kind of girl. She always wore only the best, and they last forever. You can pair good denim with anything, and you can dress it up or down. I live for a good distressed baggy pant + shorts. This is a wardrobe staple definitely made to invest in.

Tip: Wash all your denim inside out and only in cool water, then hang dry. You can thank me later.
